A little history about me, & why I'm here

Hey there, I'm Chris, and welcome to my blog. I'm predominantly a C# / .NET software developer from Norwich, Norfolk in the UK. I also occasionally dabble with other languages too such as JavaScript, Java, PHP, and Ruby (this blog runs on Jekyll which is built on top of Ruby). I also dabble a bit with Docker and other technologies from time to time.

So, what is the deal and what will be contained in this blog?
I intend to blog about some of the things I do, mostly this will be development related, with some tutorials & walkthroughs. But I'm also planning on writing some security based tutorials, such as how to spot spam emails, best practices how to spot such emails, and other things that can massively help to improve your online security.

I can also use this as a place to send friends / family when or if they get stuck with a problem, so I'll be able to point them at a page/post here! Its all about the content, right?! 😁

And so... I hope you may find at least a small nugget of the information I plan to post here useful, and if not, hopefully I will when I come to need it again in the future!

This has been in the works for some time, but its now April 2020 and I've decided to just roll with it. I had some blog posts already written but they may be a little out of date, I'm going to publish them anyway, with a view to try and validate they still work.

If you'd also like to learn a little bit more about me, and my journey to becoming a developer
(Pssst... I haven't got any formal qualification or degrees, I'm self taught! You can read more about my journey here)
